Frequently asked questions
Everything you need to know about signing in, subscribing your calendar, and keeping Notion in sync.
Getting started
How do I sign in?
Use Sign in on the app. We create your account from your Notion workspace owner email — no separate password to remember.
How do I create my first calendar feed?
After signing in, connect your Notion workspace, pick a database, map the date and title properties, and create a feed. You’ll get a subscription URL to paste into your calendar app.
Can I share my feed URL with others?
Yes. Anyone with the feed URL can subscribe to your calendar — they do not need a Notion or app account. Treat the URL like a private link and regenerate it from the dashboard if it is ever exposed.
Calendar apps
Google Calendar vs Apple Calendar vs Outlook
All three work with the same iCal feed URL from your dashboard:
- Google Calendar — Settings → Add calendar → From URL, then paste your feed link.
-
Apple Calendar — use the
webcal://subscribe link on your feed card, or File → New Calendar Subscription on Mac. - Outlook — Add calendar → Subscribe from web, then paste the HTTPS feed URL.
Changes in Notion flow to the feed on the next sync; your calendar app refreshes on its own schedule.
Why don’t calendar changes appear instantly?
We sync from Notion on a schedule (see below). After a sync completes, Google, Apple, and Outlook may still cache the feed for several minutes before showing updates. Use Sync now on the dashboard when you need a fresh pull from Notion right away.
Sync & feeds
How often does Notion sync?
Feeds sync automatically every 15 minutes. When you create or edit a feed, we sync immediately. Use Sync now on any feed card for an on-demand refresh.
What happens if my Notion connection is revoked?
If access is removed in Notion, affected feeds stop updating and the dashboard shows a reconnect banner. Re-authorize Notion from the dashboard to resume syncing.
Which Notion properties can I map?
Each feed maps a title, start date, and optional end date, description, location, URL, and attachments from your database. You can also filter by select or status properties. Custom title templates and rich descriptions are included on the Free plan.
Can I edit a feed after creating it?
Yes. Open a feed card on the dashboard to change its name, property mapping, filters, or connected databases (Premium required for more than one database per feed).
Plans & billing
What is included in the Free plan?
Free includes one active calendar feed, full property mapping (custom titles, location, filters, attachments, and more), and automatic 15-minute sync. See Pricing for a full comparison.
What does Premium unlock?
Premium adds unlimited active feeds and the ability to merge more than one Notion database into a single calendar feed. All mapping features remain the same as Free.
How do I upgrade to Premium?
Sign in and open Upgrade Account on the dashboard or choose a plan on the pricing page: $2/month, $20/year, or $100 lifetime (one-time). Checkout is handled securely by Paddle. Subscribers can use Manage billing in Account to update payment or cancel; lifetime Premium does not renew.
